Quick Answer

How do I translate an audio file?

Upload an MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC or FLAC file to Belin Doc. Choose the source and target languages, then a dubbing voice or no dubbing. The tool recognizes speech as original subtitles, translates them and, if selected, generates the target-language voice track. Credits are charged by duration; after uploading, you can check the estimated cost.

Follow progress in Recent tasks on the audio translation page, separately from video tasks. With dubbing, download the target-language audio plus original and translated subtitles; without dubbing, download translated subtitles. Once complete, you can edit the translated subtitles and generate the dubbing again.

Audio Translator FAQ

Which audio formats are supported?

MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC and FLAC are supported. Convert other formats to one of these before uploading.

How is audio translation billed?

By audio duration, using your translation credits. After you add a file, the page shows the estimated cost; the amount charged at submission is final.

What do I get when it's done?

With dubbing selected, you get target-language audio plus original and translated subtitles. Without dubbing, you get translated subtitles only. Download results from Recent tasks on the audio translation page.

Can I edit the translation and re-dub?

Yes. Open a completed task, edit the translated subtitles and submit them to regenerate the dubbing. This uses additional translation credits. If the original task had no dubbing, editing only updates the subtitles.

Can I translate several audio files at once?

Submit each audio file as a separate task. The number of tasks you can run at once follows the same limits as video translation.

Audio Translator or Video Translator?

Use Audio Translator for audio files and Video Translator for video files. Audio tasks appear in their own list on this page, separate from video tasks. Audio added through the home page document or video tab is redirected here.
