Terms of Service

Welcome to Belin Doc. Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using our website and services at belindoc.com ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Service Description
Belin Doc provides AI-powered document translation and processing services, including PDF, DOCX, image, EPUB, and other document translation; video and audio subtitle translation; manga and illustrated document translation; PDF tools (split, merge, compress); glossary management; and organization team accounts.
The Service is offered under a freemium model:
- Free tier — limited translation credits per period, access to standard features
- Paid plans (VIP) — expanded credits, priority processing, advanced AI models, and additional features as described on our Pricing page
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, subject to Section 9 (Service Changes) below.
3. User Accounts
You may register using an email address and password, or via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@belindoc.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. User Responsibility
When using our services, you agree not to:
- Upload documents containing illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unlawful content
- Upload content that infringes the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the normal operation of the service
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the service
- Use automated programs, bots, or other means to access the service in bulk beyond normal use
- Resell or redistribute translation results for commercial purposes without our prior written permission
5. Intellectual Property
You retain all rights to the documents and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the requested service. This license terminates when your files are deleted per our retention policy.
The Service, including its interface, design, and software, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our express written permission.
AI-generated translation output is produced for your use. We do not claim ownership over translation output generated from your content. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of translation output complies with applicable copyright laws.
6. Paid Services and Subscriptions
Current pricing for VIP plans and credit packages is available on our Pricing page. Charges are processed at the time of purchase. Subscription plans do not auto-renew by default unless explicitly stated at purchase.
Refunds: We offer a refund within 7 days of purchase if you have not used the credits or features included in that purchase. Partially used credit packages or VIP plans are not eligible for a full refund. To request a refund, contact support@belindoc.com with your order details.
If we terminate your account due to a breach of these Terms, any unused paid credits or remaining VIP days will be forfeited. If we discontinue the Service, we will provide a pro-rated refund for unused paid credits where feasible (see Section 9).
7. Organization Accounts
The user who creates an organization account is the "Admin" and is responsible for managing member access and ensuring members comply with these Terms. Translation history and glossary data created within an organization account remain with the organization if a member leaves. The Admin is responsible for all activity conducted under the organization account.
8. Disclaimer
Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of translations. AI-generated translations may contain errors. Use of translation results is at your own risk, and the Service is not a substitute for professional certified translation services.
9. Service Changes
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or update features of the Service at any time
- Change pricing for paid plans with at least 30 days' notice via email or in-app notification
- Temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, with reasonable advance notice where practicable
- Permanently discontinue the Service with at least 30 days' notice, during which time we will provide a pro-rated refund for unused paid credits
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@belindoc.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for breach of these Terms, fraudulent or illegal activity, or extended inactivity (more than 12 months with no login). Upon termination for breach, unused paid credits are forfeited without refund.
11. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Belin Doc, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, or use, or damages arising from inaccurate translations or decisions made based on translation output.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD 10, whichever is greater.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable at the jurisdiction where Belin Doc is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith negotiation within 30 days shall be submitted to binding arbitration under internationally recognized arbitration rules, conducted in English.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice in the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
